Filter Press is a device for separating solids and liquids. Filter Press can be used for many purposes. Among them is recovery of solids, purification of liquid or recovery of both solid part and filtrate.Harihar Filter Presses are mainly used in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Wax, Oil and Dyestuff Industries.Harihar Filter Press consists of M.S. and C.I. structure and C.I. plates and frames or P.P. plates and frames as per the requirement. Plates and frames are placed on M.S./C.I. structure consisting of End supports connected by the horizontal parallel bars. The number of plates and frames are decided on the basis of capacity required. Filter Press can be of Washable type or non-washable type. It can be either open delivery type or closed delivery type. Filter Press can have Hydraulic closing device or ratchet type closing device. Special provision can be made for jacket on the Filter Press for processing certain products, which need temperature control, either heating or cooling of plates.

Angle frame covered with panels of double sheet steel heavily insulated with Fibre glass complete with fresh air inlet and adjustable air outlet with doors at the front, finished internally with heat resistant Acid alkalie paint from outside with Synthetic enamel paint. Electric heaters can do heating or Steam heating coils.
